Independence Day 2014
It has been a little bit since I have posted some new content here. On Independence Day 2014 I was lucky enough to have a front row seat for Macy’s 4th of July Firework Spectacular show which after many years finally moved back over to the east river. For the show the city actually shut down the Brooklyn Bridge and positioned fireworks along the span to actually make the bridge the star of the show. Due to some strong rip currents the barges were actually moved further down the river closer to the downtown skyline but it made it better for me. As you can see from the image below they were basically right in front of me. Was a great night and a really great show, can’t wait to try again next year!
